Faith, Hope, and Love
Hope. Hope and Love. Without hope, love is hard to grasp and keep a hold on… your fists may bleed, but without faith- o gosh, without faith, your hope is useless and superficial. It is screaming and unwise. Your hope must be painted ever so sweetly with the feeling reminiscent of angels in order to make sense of hope. Reminiscent of logic and a trust in the earth beneath your feet, a trust that tomorrow will be a better day if today is elongated in tortured dreams. Faith is about turning today in to the most breathable atmosphere you can, by actually tasting the sweet on your tongue, by actually feeling the sore in your thighs, burning like fire from the long gliding run down your street at twilight. Faith is finding the best way to soothe you now, and to prepare for a better tomorrow. Faith is not giving up when the sky impales tops of houses using a dark sheath of devils. Faith is knowing another path will open, for you to choose, rather than sink into the ground where only despair lives; Despair with all of the happy- sad masks you desire; with all the plastic control; with all the fallacies you could dream of! Faith, my friend, is choosing the path that may be more rocky, but is not only a better workout, but rewarding and all the lovelier. It is where hope births in every flower, and where… love waits for you to notice it cuddled within the bloom.
